The Port of Milford Haven have selected a Camarc 22m pilot series design to be built by NG Shipyards for their new vessel, which will join their existing fleet of Camarc heavy weather pilot boats. This vessel will combine the selfrighting capability of the 22m series built in the US with the latest enhancements from the 22m series built in Europe in terms of hull efficiency, emissions control and comfort. All-aluminium construction and waterjet propulsion will be used for increased manoeuvrability and transit speeds of 25+ knots, whilst ride control systems will be utilised to improve crew comfort.
